Define recurring payment terms & conditions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Staff users can now define recurring payment terms & conditions directly on payment gateways. When gateway has recurring payments enabled, a link is generated in enduser panel for the invoice and the template is formatted with client & invoiced services data.<\/p>\n\n\n

Enable recurring payments only for selected services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Previously, when a client paid by card and activated recurring payments, all future services were automatically charged recurrently. With this update, recurring transactions can now be enabled only for specific services after the recurring payments terms feature ‘billing.recurring_payments_terms’ is activated.<\/p>\n\n\n

Service recurring payments terms functionality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new billing.recurring_payments_terms<\/em><\/code> feature is disabled by default. When the feature is turned off, recurring payments continue to work as before, meaning all services may be charged automatically after a client activates recurring payments with a saved card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the feature is enabled, recurring payments can be configured individually for each service. Existing saved cards will no longer be automatically charged for all services. Instead, clients must explicitly activate recurring payments for each individual service using the \u201cActivate recurring payments\u201d option. Only the selected services will then be charged recurrently. Easier access to payment methods<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A direct link to Payment Methods is now available in the profile dropdown menu in the top right bar.<\/p>\n\n\n

Notifications for payment method changes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Users will now receive notifications for recurring payment and payment method changes, including copy of recurring transactions agreement, recurring payment cancellation, and billing changes caused by service upgrades or downgrades.<\/p>\n\n\n
