  • Before upgrading to Fleio 2026.09.1 version, check the database character set and collation by running the fleio info command. The output should look like this:

Database character set: utf8mb4
Database collation: utf8mb4_unicode_ci

  • If the output differs from the above, run the following commands to update the database character set and collation before upgrading:

fleio mysql
ALTER DATABASE fleio CHARACTER SET = utf8mb4 COLLATE = utf8mb4_unicode_ci;
