Fleio beta version 2026.10.0 is now available and you can test it in your lab environment. Let me remind you that for each Fleio license you purchase you have access to an additional development license to you use in your testing or staging environment.

The stable version will be released in about one week. Read on to find out what’s new in 2026.10.

Support for application Templates

When creating an instance, if the Application Templates feature is enabled and application templates were configured in Fleio, the user will be presented with a list of available application templates to choose from.

Fleio provides a public repository of application templates for demo and testing purposes at https://github.com/fleio/demo-application-repositories. This repository contains two demo application templates, one that deploys WordPress and one that deploys Wagtail CMS.

To use these templates, you must first add the repository to Fleio – see https://fleio.com/docs/2026.10/features/application-templates.html for details on how to do this.

New Cloud resource management

The functionality of the ‘OpenStack service’ and ‘Cloud resources’ tabs were moved to the ‘Services’ tab on the client details page.

Improved invoice settlement

Until now, during automatic settlements, existing credit was applied to a new invoice only if the credit amount was equal or greater than the invoice amount. With the new setting, you can enable partial payments using the available credit.

To enable this feature, go to Settings > Configurations > Invoicing section and enable the “Allow partial settlement when issuing new invoices” option. Once enabled, any existing credit will be automatically applied to new invoices.

New volume deletion option

When attaching a volume on the instance create form, users can now enable the “Auto delete volume when instance is terminated” checkbox.

This option is available on both staff and end users and works similar to the one when creating instance with boot volume.

There are several other improvements and bug fixes in the 2026.10.0 beta release. See a the full change log.
