Fleio 2021.12.1 stable was released today, 16th of December 2021.
The latest version is marked as stable and can be used in production environment. You can read more about our release model here.
OpenStack – Wallaby and Xena support
With the latest release we are proud to let you know that we have added the most recent OpenStack releases (Wallaby and Xena) to the list of supported Openstack versions.
Billing for DNS zones
In the latest release we have added Billing for DNS zones.
As usual, if you want to charge your clients for their DNS zones, you will have to add new pricing rules, using the new resource type called DNS DOMAINS.
The pricing rule has support for the usual time units, and it will be applied to new DNS zones and to already existing DNS zones.
Multi attachable volumes and volume types support
With the latest release we have also implemented multi attachable volumes and volumes types support.
In order to create a multi attachable volume you will first need to create a new volume type, with the
multiattach <is> True property.
After adding the new volume type, you will be able to select the Multi attach volume type:
Project quotas management improvements
With 2021.12 release we have also made some much needed improvements to project quotas. In previous Fleio versions, you had to select the Region on each tab (compute, volume and network).
With the latest changes, the region was moved outside of the quotas tabs:
Besides this, we also fixed a problem, where Fleio would crash if you don’t use the Volume service.
In the last release we also added a few improvements to the MaxMind fraud check.
Now, if a new client order is automatically marked as fraud, then he will be notified that his order is under manual review.
Also, we have added more details about the fraud check. These details are available for staff users, on the order details.
Note that you have to follow the upgrading notes before upgrading to 2021.12 release. Otherwise you might break your environment which will result in downtime.
Fleio 2021.12.1 includes many more improvements and bug fixes. For a full list see the full 2021.12.1 changelog.
