Fleio 2022.01.1 stable was released today, 13th of January, 2022.

The latest version is marked as stable and can be used in production environment. You can read more about our release model here.

Mass email improvements

With the latest release, we have added several improvements to the mass email feature.

After upgrading to 2022.01 version, you will be able to see to how many clients the email will be sent and the number of clients will be changed accordingly to your filters. We found that this information would be necessary to have a visual confirmation on how many emails will be sent.

Regarding the filters, now you will be able to filter the clients that will be emailed based on the image that was used when creating the instance.

The new filter will be useful for cases where you might want to inform your clients that they are using an outdated image, or when the prices for instances using a certain image will change.

Kubernetes deployment

In the last year we moved from system package deployment to Docker deployment.

This was a necessary step in order to be able to provide support for a high – availability Fleio setup, and we want to let you know that we have started working on having a Kubernetes based deployment.

At the moment this is still a work in progress but we should be able to have Kubernetes deployment in the following Fleio releases. A public beta testing phase should be available soon.

WHMCS to Fleio news

In the latest development cycles we also started working on updating and improving the WHMCS to Fleio app.

For those who are not familiar with this application, this is used for migrating your WHMCS resources to Fleio.

There is still much work to be done but we should be able to have at least a partial release in the following weeks.

The release will include compatibility with WHMCS (up to WHMCS 8.3) and new resources import (such as tickets, predefined replies, departments).

Keep in mind that in order to upgrade Fleio to the latest version you need to follow this guide.
