Fleio’s full functionality has been available until now in a single edition. We’re now splitting the functionality by introducing a new Fleio edition and we’re changing the CPU core-based licensing to RAM-based licensing for the OpenStack edition.
We have recently released the fourth Fleio major version that includes a docker deployment method (2020.2.1). During the last four months we have gathered feedback and improved the docker installation of Fleio. We are now confident that the Fleio docker deployment is ready for production.
As we have been pointing in these last four months, we are retiring the deb/rpm system package deployment method of Fleio and we are making the docker deployment the only method to install and upgrade Fleio.
The last release that includes deb/rpm system packages will be in May 2021 (releases 2021.05.0 beta and 2021.05.1 stable).
The June 2021 releases will be the first releases that only include the docker installation method.
Fleio version 2020.11.0 is now available in beta and you can test it in your lab environment, since this release is not recommended for production.
You can now install Fleio through docker and docker-compose by running a single command.
A French translation of Fleio is now available as open source.
Fleio version 2019.06 is now available! The latest version enables you to secure the end-user and staff user accounts with two-factor authentication, clients can create volume backups and some new customization options are now available.

We usually make one planned release per month, but we’re also trying to react quickly to customers’ needs. A customer asked to get some features as soon as possible, so we’re making the second release this month.
